What Best Friends Can Do

What does best friend mean? Personally, best friends are considered those who are closest to you and make you extra happy when being together or even away. And, people cannot live alone on this planet earth. They deserve to have a huge number of friends in their lives. Without someone staying close to you, it means that you are a recluse and living in an isolated world. Thus, you will be feeling more uncomfortable. But, having best friends beside you helps you see things differently, and here is what a best friend gives you.

Obviously, giving good advice is one among the best points every best friend meet. Once in a while, when you cannot stabilize your mood or have some problems urgently needing to be dealt, it is sure that your best friends can be your good advisers or mentors that give the good pieces of advice for the sake of minimizing the issue or matter. Despite the fact that they cannot tremendously cope with the issue, but at least, they endeavor to inspire you or stay by your side.

Undeniably, helpfulness is always the presence in the heart of best friendship. As stated earlier, when having problems, your best friend can be your prolific advisers. At this point, it means that your best friend is already helpful, for they stay closer to you, and never leave you alone or take you for granted, especially join a hand in dealing with the problems. One quote says, “Strong friendship does not need daily conversation or togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never be tore down”. It really makes sense. If you love your friend by heart, you deserve lasting friendship, and your friendship will grow even stronger and stronger that nobody breaks down.

Another point is that your best friends appreciate your achievement. Some people might say, “I have a lot of best friends, but I am so disappointed because they never appreciate my success, and sometimes they also get jealous of me”. So, that is the bad point with which some people face, and they truly feel very disappointed and unsatisfied. In other words, those who act like that is not treated as best friends because they never celebrate other people’s success. To put it simply, they are not altruistic. On contrary, best friends are happy to see their friend become successful, and they appreciate what his or her best friend achieve.

More importantly, best friends can be your talented entertainers. Honestly, in a group of best friends, I am sure that there must be one or ones who have the repertoire of making jokes or fun of you.  One quote says,” A good friend calls you in jail. A great friend bails you out of jail. Your best friend sits next to you and says, ‘wasn’t that fun’” It is very sure that when coming to talk about best friends, you sometimes feel so terrified and scary. However, those pursuits are just the something that they want to make you feel good and entertained. Everybody used to go through all of these feelings. In other words, best friends can make you cry and laugh, but they never leave you alone when problems are present in your life.

To make it simply short, everybody must have their own best friend, including me, because they are a part of your life. You deserve them. And, making best friends takes time. It means that not just only one day, you can become someone’s best friend. In common, it takes years to prove that you together become best friends. Therefore, best friends are what you should have. Remember one quote that I think it is really worth remembering. Friends come and go, like the waves of the ocean, but the true ones stay, like an octopus on your face.
